In spring 2008 PLACE ran a 6-week short course on Gardening for Wildlife in a Changing Climate.
The course was led by Barbara Hickman and Margaret Atherden. Topics included:
  • The challenge of climate change in the 21st century
  • Planning and managing your garden
  • Practical measures to encourage and support wildlife in the garden
  • Sustainable living in the garden
  • Institutional gardening: York St John University's campus.
